Cyclops. Iceman. Angel. Beast. Marvel Girl.

The original team of teen mutants brought together by Professor Charles Xavier many years ago have been shunted through time to find a world they barely recognize but were determined to help.

Now, finding themselves targeted for death, the future of mutantkind lies squarely in the hands of its past.

Writer Ed Brisson (OLD MAN LOGAN) and artist Pepe Larraz (UNCANNY AVENGERS) answer the biggest question of all: can the fate of the X-Men be changed?

28 pages, FC.

Last issue Bloodstorm and Cable were killed and young Iceman was kidnapped. There seem to be two assailants on the loose but are they connected or is this just a coincidence?

This issue the X-Men try to make sense of the madness that happened while they try to figure out exactly what is happening. We see the X-Men come together to form a plan of attack. Young Cyclops is distraught and young Jean makes some interesting decisions. Jean’s decision in this issue really intrigues me and I am excited to see why she chose who she did and what will come of it.

The art in this issue is so well done. Pepe Larraz is one of the best x-artists. He pays such attention to detail and while pulling us through all the action he is able to make it fun and so very exciting. Even in the less intense moments you can still feel the drama oozing off the pages.

I am now definitely into this story and excited for the next issue. It really does feel like something major is coming but what exactly an how do all the pieces come together?
