Logan was letting his animal side take over for awhile as he roams in New York’s Central Park. He senses someone needing help at a nearby zoo. Upon entering it near the wolverine pen, he discovers some lunatic who called himself Linus. Armed with a kitchen knife, he was torturing defensless animals. Linus flings himself towards Logan with knife drawn, and stabs it through Logan’s hand. But Logan was a muntant, so he wasn’t hurt. Linus then points a gun at Logan, but he sticks one of his adamantium claws into the chamber, causing the gun to backfire. After pulling the knife back out, he frees the wolverine from the pen, which gives chase after Linus.
