James Montgomery Flagg’s 1917 “I Want You For U.S. Army – Uncle Sam Poster” is probably the most famous example of U.S. propaganda. It was based on the original British Lord Kitchener posters and was successfully used to recruit soldiers during both the first and second world wars. Probably why Optimus Prime “borrowed” the idea for his Autobot recruitment drive!
