Pizza the Hutt was half-man, half-pizza, and one of the most notorious Hutt crime lords in the galaxy. Pizza the Hutt is a spoof of Jabba the Hutt, from Star Wars, and the restaurant Pizza Hut. He was played by Dom DeLuise.

While flying in the Eagle 5, Lone Starr and Barf get a call from Pizza the Hutt demanding 1,000,000 spacebucks. His subordinate Vinnie was also ther to demand the spacebucks. Soon afterward, King Roland of Planet Druidia asks Lone Starr to rescue his daughter, Princess Vespa, from Dark Helmet. Lone Starr and Barf agree to do so in exchange for 1,000,000 spacebucks. After Lone Starr rescues Vespa and saves Druidia, he and Barf receive news that Pizza the Hutt ate himself to death, meaning that they no longer owe him any money. However, after they return Vespa to King Roland, Lone Starr turns down the 1,000,000 spacebucks, as an expression of his love for her.

The Pizza the Hutt costume used real cheese.

Vinnie is a character in Spaceballs played by Rudy DeLuca.VINNIE Vinnie is the robotic Mafioso-like subordinate of Pizza the Hutt. Vinnie appears to suffer from some sort of mechanical glitch which often causes him to twitch between sentences. He dresses like a stereotypical mobster, wearing a formal striped black suit, black gloves, sunglasses and a fedora. He seems to enjoy eating his boss’s cheesy body. By the end of the movie, Pizza The Hut is killed when he was trapped inside his limousine and ate himself to death. It’s unknown what became of Vinnie afterwards. Although its likely he either became unemployed or was made the new head of Pizza’s organization.
