This taught Ben that no matter how he appeared, he was still human on the inside and he could not kill Bruce. The Hulk starts to say something when an army missile slams into him. This enrages the Hulk who punches Ben accusing him of setting him up for the military. Ben denies this, saying he got the army to give him a concession to talk first, but the troops jumped the gun. Hulk and Thing trade blows while the Hulk easily destroys the tanks and the military retreats. The story ends with the Hulk and Thing discussing the terms of a book deal.
