Unlike the prior crossover Devil’s Reign (1997 Event), which showed the Top Cow universe and the Marvel universe being separate, Unholy Union takes place in a universe where the Marvel characters and Top Cow characters share the same Earth, which is why it’s included on Earth-7642.

Hulk and The Darkness previously met in THE DARKNESS/THE INCREDIBLE HULK (June 2004), a previous collaboration between the two companies.
