Kicker with the Omnicons: Arcee, Strong Arm, Signal Flare and Sky Blast! The Omnicons stood in direct opposition to the decipticon aligned Terrorcons! The Omnicons include: Arcee – A female Autobot who turns into a motorcycle. Signal Flare – Turns into a maser tank, wields an energon buzzsaw. The dish on his arm can scan and duplicate objects, and can absorb ambient energon. The original concept art of Signal Flare from Hasbro had him turning into a Cobra H.I.S.S. tank. Skyblast (Air Glide) – transforms into a starfighter, wields an Energon spear. Strongarm (Blastarm) – transforms into a jeep, wields an Energon axe. He transformers into a Cybertronian truck and wields an energon axe. Omnicons are four young Autobots who were trained by the Mini-Con Over-Run. They are described as the next stage of Transformer evolution. Unlike the animated series, there were only ever the four Omnicons. Their first major appearance was in Energon #25 where they had been sent to Earth by Optimus Prime. Unfortunately their inexperience antagonized relations with the Earth governments, forcing Prime to send them to Hot Shot for training. He had little success, as the only command they obeyed was his frustrated “get lost!” They did in the Canadian wilderness, and were promptly ambushed and taken prisoner by Snow Cat, hoping to take advantage of their energon manipulation for Scorponok. Only by learning to work together as a team did they escape and eventually defeat Snow Cat. Chad “Kicker” Jones is the son of Doctor Brian and Miranda Jones and was taken to Cybertron by his father when he was still a young child in the early days of the alliance between Earth and the Transformers. Terrified of the robots, Kicker fled, but wound up stumbling into the chamber of Primus, the sentient energy core of Cybertron, who bestowed upon him the ability to sense Energon. Kicker was subsequently used – a little too offhandedly – by Doctor Jones to locate Energon deposits, leading the boy to bear a grudge against his father, and against the Transformers. When the Terrorcon attacks on Earth began, Kicker insisted that he be allowed to fight alongside the Autobots, and was given a battlesuit to protect him by his father. Unsure of what to do with the boy, Optimus Prime partnered him with Ironhide – something that neither of the two was happy about at first, but eventually, they became close friends. Throughout the series he overcame his fear with the Autobots and becomes a great friend with them. Kicker also developed a close bond with Alpha Q when he met the alien, Alpha Q helps him to open his eyes, stop being so stubborn and listen to his father and brokered the truce between him and the Autobots – when Alpha Q recreated the worlds destroyed by Unicron, he fashioned a world of grass and plains, based on an image of Kicker’s childhood taken from his memory.
