The world is falling apart around Steve Austin. Maskatron is out of control and appears to be unstoppable. Oscar Goldman’s carefully crafted OSI kingdom is in shambles. And with his bionics failing and the entire NASA program transformed into an alien landscape, the Six Million Dollar Man could be heading for the scrapheap. The key to Steve’s survival may rest with the one person closest to him, Jaime Sommers, the Bionic Woman! 32 pages, full color.

For The Six Million Dollar Man’s 40th anniversary comes the direct continuation of the classic television series with Season 6! Better. Stronger. Faster. The original Six Million Dollar Man, Steve Austin was a man barely alive until the OSI turned him into the world’s first Bionic Man. Now he and Oscar Goldman are the most effective team in National Security. But a rogue faction in the OSI is making a power play for that position with a new type of infiltration agent – one that is completely obedient and robotic. Can a soulless machine that wears Steve Austin’s very face make the Six Million Dollar Man obsolete? For the 1st Time EVER! Fan favorite toy-line character Maskatron makes his Six Million Dollar Man debut and becomes a part of the classic television series mythology with a violent and terrifying purpose. And as Steve’s world is threatened from within, his very actions unknowingly release an alien menace upon an unsuspecting world. Classic action, powerful science fiction, and a cast of characters from one of television’s most original series combine to make The Six Million Dollar Man: Season 6 a must have for comic fans!

In Dec 2017, The Weinstein Company sold the film’s rights to Warner Bros. As of Jan 2018, they hoped to start filming a movie starring Mark Wahlberg in mid 2018. In April 2018, they set an early to mid 2019 release for the film. The film was moved to June 5, 2020, until Wonder Woman 1984 took over the release date, and in April 2019, Travis Knight and Bill Dubuque replaced Szifron as director and writer.

Mark Wahlberg has revealed his long-in-development reboot of The Six Billion Dollar Man will move forward quickly once Skydance settles the legal rights.

“You know what, I think there is finally hope for that to happen,” Wahlberg said in an interview with Collider promoting his latest movie The Family Plan. “And I think it’s kind of actually a lot to do with this movie, because hopefully Skydance will have the rights, if not fully buttoned up now, very soon, and we’ll fast track that movie to get made. So, I’m still not out of the fight, I’m still grinding every day to get it made. You know, its tough to get certain things made it’s very difficult, it was an uphill battle, but I think certain ones are worth just seeing through to the end.”
