Bruce transforms into the Hulk with Betty and Rick looking on (and Betty’s husband!) Elizabeth “Betty” Ross (later Betty Talbot and then Betty Banner) created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. She made her first appearance in Incredible Hulk #1 (1962) as a romantic interest of the Hulk (Dr. Bruce Banner) and is the daughter of General Thunderbolt Ross. Over the years, the character has undergone multiple transformations, turning into the villainess Harpy in Incredible Hulk #168 (1973) and into the antiheroine Red She-Hulk (or She-Rulk).
