Grace Jones as Zula a thief/raider rescued by Conan, who joins his brigade. Zula later becomes the Captain of the Guard in Shadizar, replacing Bombaata. Despite being a fierce warrior, she is afraid of rats. Beverly Grace Jones (born 19 May 1948) is a Jamaican singer, actress and model. In America she appeared in some low-budget films in the 1970s and early 1980s. Her work as an actress in mainstream film began in the 1984 fantasy-action film Conan the Destroyer alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, and the 1985 James Bond movie A View to a Kill. In 1986 she played a vampire in Vamp, and acted in and contributed a song to the 1992 film Boomerang with Eddie Murphy. She appeared alongside Tim Curry in the 2001 film, Wolf Girl. After the release of Living My Life, Jones worked as an actress, with the role of Zula, the Amazonian, in Conan the Destroyer (1984). She was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress. Conan meets Zula (Grace Jones), a powerful warrior and bandit, whom Jehnna and Conan rescue from vengeful villagers; considering herself indebted to Conan for saving her life, she offers to join their quest.
