X-Man and Holocaust are both characters from the alternate reality X-Men universe that explored the “What If” scenario had Professor X died before forming the X-Men. What ended up happening was there was noone prepared to stop the coming of Apocalypse and Magneto ended up forming the X-Men. X-Man is basically the Age of Apocalypse version of Cable: Cyclops and Jean Grey’s child (yes, I know Jean Grey technically isn’t Cable’s mother.) Holocaust is Apocalypse’s son and one of his horsemen.
