Maria Di Angelis is an international model and actress currently based in New York City. As noted by Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, “she’s appeared on more covers than any supermodel in history; Maria has graced the cover of more than 3,000 romance novels,” in addition to the cover of numerous magazines worldwide. While completing her B.A. in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Delaware, Maria entered a Revlon contest that her mother, Anna Conte Di Angelis, picked up at her local CVS drugstore. Based on Maria’s essay, photographic submissions, and several interviews, Revlon proclaimed her one of the “Most Unforgettable Women in the World.” Subsequently, Maria was honored with a TIMMY Award by Talent in Motion Magazine, along with Makeup Artist Duane Sevelin. Following an extensive search, Maria was selected as the Vampirella action hero spokesmodel and cover girl by Harris Comics. She still holds the record for more Vampirella covers than any other model, prior or since. Her action figurine bears a striking resemblance to the flesh and — dare we say — blood?
