I needed to find something that my son could relate to so that he could learn in a way that made sense to him. This book is really helping him! The Common Core is a new curriculum that has been introduced in New York State (I am not a fan) and I think the learning style associated with it has contributed to my son’s school struggles. It’s amazing to watch his true capabilities shine through when he is given presented with a different learning style and a subject matter that he relate to!
