Jensen JS652 6.5″ inch Coaxial Car Stereo Speaker System. BRAND NEW/NEVER OPENED. 25 watts RMS / 4.7 ounce magnet / 6.5 inch coaxial speaker / 75 watts peak / Black foam surround / Includes mounting hardware and speaker wire / Metal mesh ABS grille / Stamped black painted metal basket / Treated paper cone / Continuous Power per channel watts: 200 / Speaker Enclosure Frequency Response Low: 25 / Speaker Enclosure Frequency Response High: 25. While they are not meant for high powered systems, they are just are fine for low-to-moderate level listening. The bass response is quite surprising for a cheap 6.5-inch speaker. Don’t be ridiculous and expect a sub-woofer out of them, but if you are looking for a good low-priced speaker that doesn’t roll off too terribly in the 100hz frequency region, these are great. As for the treble response, I found the the speakers to be clean and without harsh peaks, but also a bit soft in the high treble frequency region. I suppose cheap add-on tweeters are an option to correct things here…but I don’t think any of this is significant enough of a problem to be worth the effort. In summary, these are an excellent deal for the price. As always, I encourage people to first listen to these and a variety of other speakers in a store that allows for such, but if you can’t, these are certainly worth a leap of faith in my opinion.
